Center Club 16th Floor Renovation

In 2016, Mahogany was selected to furnish and install the millwork of The Center Club, in addition to an Association Agreement in which our Superintendents supervised all day-to-day construction of the two-month long project.
The renovation project hosts a members-only club, located on the 15th and 16th floors of the Transamerica tower in downtown Baltimore that transformed the look of the 16th floor and expanded the amount of space available for hosting events there.

Morgan State Auditorium

In 2017 Mahogany was chosen as the Millwork Supplier for the Earl G. Graves School of Business at Morgan State University. In addition to supplying millwork in the lobby, Mahogany also furnished and installed the casework displayed in the laboratory and classrooms.

Located on a nine-acre site at the east end of the Northwood Shopping Center, the nearly 140,000-square-foot complex is a state-of-the-art facility featuring a Center for Innovation, computer labs, classrooms, a real-time Capital Markets stock trading center, seminar rooms, and a 299-person-capacity auditorium that includes an 80-person lecture hall. The building also houses a demonstration kitchen and a block of 10 functional hotel rooms for the business school’s hospitality management program.

Kennedy Center Terrace Theatre

In late 2018, Mahogany was chosen as the Millwork supplier for The Terrace Theater. The Terrace Theater is the busiest theater within The Kennedy Center, hosting up to 180 performances each year ranging from music, jazz, dance, film, lectures, and more.

The Terrace Theater recently underwent a renovation, and has been completely transformed with hand-crafted, curved wood paneling that invokes the materials and build of stringed instruments.

All materials were selected to enhance the acoustic integrity of the space, including seating, carpet, and the wood paneling, which is finished with wood sourced from a single sycamore tree.

The new space holds 490 seats, including 14 accessible spaces located across each level of the theater, including balconies added to either side of the theater, and direct access to the stage from the audience chamber.

Sibley Proton Center

In 2019, Johns Hopkins embarked upon a large renovation to expand the Proton Center at Sibley. With the goal of creating a state-of-the-art comprehensive cancer treatment center to benefit the metropolitan Washington, DC, area and even the broader mid-Atlantic region, Mahogany was selected to furnish and install the millwork of this state-of-the-art facility.
